Amanda Jones 

Chief Financial Officer

Amanda Jones is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BBC Studios and the wider BBC Commercial Group. Reporting to BBC Studios’ CEO, Tom Fussell, she sits on the Senior Executive Committee (SEC) as the BBC Commercial Board and leads the overall financial strategy and teams for the BBC’s commercial arm, as well as overseeing budgeting, reporting, business support and financial controls.  Amanda works closely with the CEO and the rest of the executive committee, as well as key BBC Group and external stakeholders, to shape strategy that will help BBC Studios deliver its significant  commercial ambition. She was appointed to the role in August 2025, having previously been interim CFO.

Amanda is a highly commercial finance executive with extensive experience at a senior level in large and global organisations such as Emap, ITV and Kantar. She also has an impressive track record of bringing different businesses together and supporting digital product growth strategies in traditional media organisations.
